The Art of Living Well | Kisco Senior Living | Crestavilla | Laguna Niguel 2023-2024
Activities Assistant and Podcast Producer

Initiated, hosted, published, and edited a groundbreaking podcast dedicated to the senior living community. Developed and executed the podcast concept from inception to production, showcasing expertise in communication skills and project management. Responsible for marketing the podcast to residents, content creation, guest interviews, and post-production editing and publishing. Implemented strategic marketing efforts resulting in increased engagement and community outreach.

Established and led a weekly Armchair Travel day, where I designed the calendar, schedule, and dasily routine. I collaborated with the kitchen to coordinate culturally relevant food experiences and enlisted the support of staff members from countries on our itinerary to co-host and enhance the cultural exchange for our residents.

Managed Assistant Living classes, events, and excursions for up to 160 retired senior residents. In Memory Care (Dementia: Alzheimer's), I conduct tailored activities such as music therapy, art therapy, seasonal/Holiday crafts, games, puzzles, karaoke, and cognitive practice and learning for a group of up to 30 residents, twice a week.

Direct Support Professional | Care Partners | Irvine 2023-2024
Care Giver, Life Coach, ADLs

I specialize in assisting individuals of all ages, including children, seniors, and adults, with Assisted Daily Living Tasks (ADLs). My role involves engaging in activities, event planning, and contributing to the coordination of personal life tasks and goals.

Serving as a friend, mentor, and guide, I focus on fostering interdependence in individuals and supporting their personal growth or goals specified by family members when applicable. I work with ASD clients, as young as seven years old, and seniors. I provide services for physically disabled seniors and adults to help them complete their ADLs with dignity and confidence. I have worked with clients who need walkers, wheelchairs, or oxygen tanks, and with clients who have CP or may need assistance toileting or changing. I have worked with verbal and non-verbal clients; I have used accessible programs and tools to chat with them and even play video games with them.

I generate daily activities and learning experiences focused on teaching interdependence in clients. My philosophy is to meet clients where they are and let them tell me what they would like out of our time together, providing suggestions, options, and growth opportunities as our time progresses.
